Sterilization

Erindale Village Dental is very happy to be using the Elara 11 Tuttnauer autoclave to sterilize our equipment. The Elara 11 is a hospital grade sterilizer that kills viruses, bacteria, fungus and spores using high heat (134C) and pressure. We double check our sterilization process by doing biological testing daily.
Our treatment rooms are cleaned suing Optime 33TB wipes after every patient. These disinfectant wipes kill tuberculosis, viruses, fungus and bacteria.
The water that is used for patient care is kept clean by using Dentapure Cartidges. These cartidges purify the water as it passes through and removes bacteria keeping the water safe. We also test the quality of the water every three months to ensure that we are keeping our patients healthy.
